The Hospedería Parque de Monfragüe is a hotel located in the heart of Extremadura's 'dehesa' pastureland, at one of the main entrances of the Monfragüe National Park. A short distance away are the monumental towns of Cáceres, Plasencia and Trujillo. Since 2017 the hotel has had the Starlight Certification for astronomy observation.
The hotel is a new building, renovated in 2015. Inside it, we find avant-garde décor, furnishings and decorative and comfort elements by artists such as Vostell, Canelo, Mariscal, Le Corbusier and Moragas.

46 standard double rooms, 2 adapted rooms, 4 doubles with small lounge and 4 superior doubles and 4 duplex rooms. Most of the rooms have a terrace-balcony from which one can contemplate the nature of the Monfragüe National Park.

One of the most inviting spaces of our hotel is the Salón Azul, or Blue Room, fitted with comfortable armchairs for relaxing, reading or chatting.
Taking its name from one of the best-known places in the park, this events' room has capacity for 215 people and a surface area of 320 square metres.
The "Monfragüe" room has a capacity for 120 people, and can be used to maximum advantage for company presentations, holding events, weddings, etc.
The Hospedería Parque de Monfragüe has a paddle tennis court, where you can relax by practising this sport surrounded by nature. Prices for guests staying at the hotel, for one and a half hour of use: € 6
The pool will be closed until summer 2024. There is a large lawn around the pool, where one can freshen up during the summer months. The garden is also an ideal place in which to hold open-air weddings. More information on weddings.
The Hospedería has an Astronomical Viewpoint in the garden, which, depending on the season of the year, is illuminated at night to indicate the celestial bodies visible from the hotel.

El Paraíso de los Sentidos Restaurant
In the Hospedería Parque de Monfragüe, the restaurant "El Paraíso de los Sentidos" offers privileged views of the national park from its large windows. In this spectacular setting, our meticulous gastronomy delights travellers, who find here a broad representation of the traditional cuisine of Extremadura, and an exquisite selection of wines.
Our cuisine is characterised by the use of typical local products, safeguarding their aromas and sensations, and adding subtle innovative touches to boot.
